Ingredients

8 oz (225g) white chocolate, finely chopped

1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream

2 tablespoons Limoncello (Italian lemon liqueur)

Zest of 1 lemon

A pinch of sea salt

1/2 cup (50g) powdered sugar (for rolling)

Optional: crushed pistachios or graham cracker crumbs (for rolling)

Instructions

Heat the Cream: In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium-low heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat.

Melt the Chocolate: Place the finely chopped white chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 2-3 minutes to melt.

Mix in Flavors: After the chocolate has melted, stir gently until combined and smooth. Add Limoncello, lemon zest, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir until well blended.

Chill the Mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for about 2 hours, or until it is firm enough to scoop.

Form the Truffles: Once chilled, use a melon baller or a small cookie scoop to portion out the chocolate mixture. Roll each portion between your hands to form small balls.

Coat the Truffles: Place the powdered sugar in a shallow dish. Roll each truffle in the powdered sugar until evenly coated. If desired, roll some in crushed pistachios or graham cracker crumbs for added texture and flavor.

Final Chill: Arrange the truffles on a baking sheet and refrigerate for another 30 minutes to firm up.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve chilled or at room temperature, and enjoy your delightful and creamy White Chocolate Limoncello Truffles!
