Ingredients

1 cup assorted cured meats (salami, prosciutto, fig spread)

1 cup assorted cheeses (brie, aged cheddar, goat cheese)

1 cup fresh fruits (grapes, apple slices, figs)

1 cup assorted nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachios)

1 cup olives (green and black mix)

1 small jar of honey

1 cup crackers or bread sticks

Fresh herbs for garnish (rosemary or thyme)

Instructions

Select Your Board: Start with a large wooden or slate board as your base. Ensure it’s clean and dry.

Arrange the Meats: Lay the cured meats in small clusters on one side of the board. You can fold or roll the slices for an appealing look.

Add the Cheeses: Cut the cheeses into various shapes and sizes. Arrange them near the meats, leaving space in between for other items.

Incorporate Fruits: Add fresh fruits around the meats and cheeses, allowing their colors to pop against the board. Position grapes in small bunches and scatter apple slices and figs.

Sprinkle in Nuts: Fill in any gaps on the board by placing small handfuls of assorted nuts. This adds texture and crunch to your board.

Nestle in Olives: Add a small bowl of olives to the board to serve as a savory element. Place them near the cheeses for easy access.

Honey Jar: Place the jar of honey on the board to balance out the saltiness of the meats and cheeses. A small spoon can be included for easy serving.

Crackers or Bread Sticks: Arrange crackers or bread sticks in a decorative fashion, either stacked or on a small plate.

Garnish with Herbs: Finish off your charcuterie board by sprinkling fresh herbs around the various items, adding a pop of color and fragrance.

Serve with Style: Present your charcuterie board on a rustic table setting, and don’t forget to include small forks and toothpicks for easy picking.
