4 large everything bagels (fresh or stale)

1/4 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme blend)

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional for a smoky flavor)

Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for an extra touch)

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Bagels: Slice each bagel into thin chips, about 1/4-inch thick. If your bagels are stale, pre-slicing will make them easier to crisp up!

      Make the Seasoning Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried Italian herbs, smoked paprika (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the spices are evenly distributed within the oil.

        Coat the Bagel Chips: Place the sliced bagels into a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the seasoned olive oil over the bagel slices and toss gently but thoroughly to ensure each slice is coated evenly.
