Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour half of the marinade over the salmon, ensuring it's evenly coated. Allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Bake the Salmon: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Remove the salmon from the marinade (discard the used marinade) and place the fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Glaze the Salmon: In the last 2 minutes of baking, brush the remaining marinade over the salmon fillets for added glaze and flavor.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish. Serve immediately with steamed rice and stir-fried vegetables or a fresh salad.
