Ingredients

2 ripe avocados

1 can (5 oz) of high-quality tuna in water, drained

2 tablespoons mayonnaise (preferably spicy)

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon lime juice

1 small celery stalk, finely chopped

1 green onion, finely sliced

1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped

Salt and pepper, to taste

Red pepper flakes, for garnish (optional)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half lengthwise and remove the pit. Gently scoop out a bit of the flesh to make more room for the filling, and set the scooped avocado aside in a bowl.

Mix the Tuna Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, sriracha, and lime juice. Mix well until the ingredients are fully integrated.

Add Crunch and Flavor: Stir in the finely chopped celery, green onion, and cilantro. If you reserved any avocado from scooping, add it to the mix for a creamier texture. Season the filling with salt and pepper to taste.

Fill Avocados: Generously spoon the spicy tuna mixture into each avocado half, packing it in slightly to ensure it's filled nicely.

Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle red pepper flakes on top for an added kick, if desired. Serve the stuffed avocados immediately with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
