Ingredients

2 ripe mangoes, diced

2 ripe avocados, diced

1 small red onion, finely chopped

1 jalapeño pepper, seeds removed and minced

1 small red bell pepper, diced

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 2 limes

1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prep the Fruits: In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced mangoes and avocados gently to avoid mashing them.

Add Vegetables: Stir in the chopped red onion, minced jalapeño, and diced red bell pepper into the bowl with the mangoes and avocados.

Incorporate Herbs: Add the freshly chopped cilantro to the mixture, ensuring even distribution throughout.

Season the Salsa: Squeeze the juice of two limes over the mixture, drizzle with honey if using, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine Gently: Carefully fold all the ingredients together until well mixed, being cautious not to break down the avocado too much.

Chill: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and let the salsa chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve: Give the salsa a quick stir before serving. Enjoy it with tortilla chips, on top of grilled chicken or fish, or as a vibrant topping for tacos!
