Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup Sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Salt, to taste

Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Green onions, sliced, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup and place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet.

Prepare the Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps them get super crispy when baked. In a large bowl, season the wings with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Toss to coat evenly.

Make the Spicy Honey Marinade: In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and ground ginger until well combined.

Marinate the Wings: Pour the spicy honey mixture over the seasoned wings and toss until they are fully coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes. For best results, marinate in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours.

Bake the Wings: Arrange the marinated wings in a single layer on the wire rack placed over the baking sheet. This allows the heat to circulate around the wings and makes them crispy. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Drizzle any remaining marinade over the wings, garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired, and serve hot.
