Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece of ginger, minced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 cup broccoli florets

1 carrot, julienned

1 cup snap peas

4 green onions, chopped

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups cooked brown rice or quinoa

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Rice/Quinoa: Start by cooking your brown rice or quinoa according to package instructions. Set aside once cooked.

Cook the Turkey: In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground turkey and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.

Add Aromatics: Stir in the minced garlic and ginger. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Incorporate Veggies: Add the sliced red bell pepper, broccoli florets, julienned carrot, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the veggies are tender-crisp.

Season the Mixture: Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Add salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if desired). Stir everything until well combined and the vegetables are coated with the sauce.

Combine: Lower the heat to medium and mix in the cooked brown rice or quinoa to incorporate everything evenly, allowing it to warm up in the skillet for about 2-3 minutes.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat. Divide the stir-fry mixture into bowls, sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish.

Enjoy: Serve immediately, enjoying the colorful, nutritious feast you’ve prepared!
