Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably whole wheat)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

1 large egg, beaten

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried dill

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, red onion, garlic, parsley, feta cheese, beaten egg, dried oregano, dill, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Use your hands to thoroughly mix all the ingredients until well combined.

Shape Meatballs: With your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper as you work.

Preheat Pan: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Make sure the oil is hot but not smoking.

Cook Meatballs: Carefully add the meatballs to the skillet, being cautious not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through. You may need to cook in batches.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the meatballs from the skillet and let them drain on a plate lined with paper towels. Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side for freshening up the flavors.

Enjoy: These savory Greek turkey meatballs are perfect as an appetizer or served with a side of tzatziki sauce and a Greek salad for a complete meal.
