Ingredients

1 lb (450g) flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

1 medium bell pepper, sliced (any color)

1 medium zucchini, sliced into half-moons

1 cup broccoli florets

1 medium carrot, julienned

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

Salt and pepper to taste

4 large lettuce leaves (Romaine or Butter lettuce works well)

Sesame seeds for garnish

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Marinate the Beef: In a medium bowl, combine the sliced flank steak, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well to coat the beef and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Prepare the Vegetables: While the beef is marinating, wash and slice the bell pepper, zucchini, carrot, and separate the broccoli into florets. Set aside.

Heat the Wok/Pan: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef in a single layer and sear for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Avoid overcrowding the pan; you may need to do this in batches. Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.

Stir-Fry the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the bell pepper, zucchini, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir to combine and let everything cook together for an additional 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Wraps: To serve, take a large lettuce leaf and spoon in a generous amount of the beef and vegetable stir-fry filling. Top with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro if desired. Wrap up the lettuce to form a pocket and enjoy!

Enjoy Your Dish: Serve the wraps immediately while warm, and enjoy the crispy texture of the lettuce combined with the savory stir-fry filling.
