1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

4 large eggs

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

2 cups crushed OREO cookies (about 15-20 cookies)

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup OREO cookies (for topping)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.

    Melt the Butter: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until bubbly. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

      Mix Sugars: In a large bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix well until smooth.

        Add Eggs and Vanilla: Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until fully integrated.

          Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until no dry streaks remain.
