Ingredients

4 cups water

2 cups fresh raspberries (plus extra for garnish)

4-6 black tea bags (or 4-6 teaspoons loose leaf black tea)

1/2 cup sugar (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Raspberry Puree: In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of fresh raspberries and 1/4 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until raspberries break down, about 5 minutes. Use a fine mesh strainer to strain the mixture, pressing down to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the solids and set the puree aside.

Brew the Black Tea: In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags (or loose-leaf tea). Let steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength. Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool for a few minutes.

Sweeten the Tea: While the tea is still warm, stir in the sugar until dissolved completely.

Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, mix the cooled tea, raspberry puree, and fresh lemon juice. Stir well to combine and adjust sweetness if necessary.

Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the tea for at least 1-2 hours until fully chilled. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the raspberry iced tea over the ice, and garnish with additional raspberries and fresh mint leaves.

Enjoy: Refresh yourself with this delightful and vibrant Raspberry Iced Tea!
