Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)

¼ cup Dijon mustard

¼ cup honey

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 pound asparagus, trimmed

1 lemon, sliced (for garnish)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the sheet pan. Brush half of the honey mustard mixture over the salmon fillets, reserving the other half for later.

Add the Asparagus: Scatter the trimmed asparagus around the salmon on the sheet pan. Drizzle a little olive oil over the asparagus and season with salt and pepper.

Bake: Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender.

Glaze the Salmon: In the last 2 minutes of baking, brush the remaining honey mustard mixture over the salmon for an extra glaze.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving.

Enjoy Your Meal! Plate the salmon and asparagus alongside your favorite grain or salad for a complete meal.
