Ingredients

1 can (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup mini pepperoni slices

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Cut the dough into 12 equal squares, roughly 3x3 inches each.

Assemble the Bombs: On each square of dough, place about 2-3 mini pepperoni slices and a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese in the center. Make sure to leave some space around the edges.

Seal the Dough: Gather the corners of the dough up and around the filling. Pinch the edges tightly to seal the filling inside, forming a ball. Ensure that no filling can escape during baking.

Season the Bombs: In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Brush the mixture generously over each pizza bomb.

Add Cheese Topping: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the tops of the brushed pizza bombs for extra flavor and a beautiful finish.

Bake: Place the pizza bombs on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool and Serve: Remove the pizza bombs from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
