Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon ranch seasoning mix

4 cups beef broth

12 ounces pasta (penne or rotini works well)

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup heavy cream

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Sauté the Beef: In a large pot or Dutch oven, over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add Aromatics: Stir in the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking for about 3-4 minutes, until the onion is soft and translucent.

Mix in Seasoning: Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix into the pot and mix well to combine with the beef and onion.

Add Liquids and Pasta: Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Once boiling, add the pasta. Stir the pasta well to ensure it’s submerged in the broth.

Cook the Pasta: Cover the pot and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and has absorbed most of the liquid.

Make it Creamy: Once the pasta is cooked, lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream followed by the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until the cheese is fully melted and the pasta is creamy. Adjust seasoning with extra salt and pepper if needed.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and let sit for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy your comforting, cheesy beef pasta!
