4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 lemon (zested and juiced)

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon slices (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Chicken: In a large bowl, combine the chicken thighs with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the chicken is evenly coated with the marinade. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes.

      Arrange in a Pan: On a large baking sheet or in a cast-iron skillet, arrange the marinated chicken thighs in the center. Spread the trimmed asparagus around the chicken.

        Drizzle and Season: Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the asparagus. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, mixing gently to coat evenly.

          Bake: Place the baking sheet or skillet into the preheated oven and roast for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the asparagus is tender.

            Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and lemon slices before serving.
