4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 cup Arborio rice (or long-grain rice)

4 cups low-sodium chicken broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup frozen peas (or fresh peas, if available)

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs

Handful of fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet or sauté pan over medium-high heat. Season both sides of the chicken thighs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

    Sear Chicken: Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Sauté Rice: In the same skillet, add the Arborio rice and toast it for about 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently until it's slightly translucent.
