1 pound ground beef (85% lean)

2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup beef broth

1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon black pepper

Salt to taste

Optional: sliced green onions for garnish

Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.

    Brown the Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. season with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook until browned for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

      Add Garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

        Incorporate Broccoli: Add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Pour in the beef broth and soy sauce, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still bright green.
