1 cup rolled oats

½ cup natural almond butter (or any nut butter of choice)

¼ cup honey or maple syrup

¼ cup ground flaxseed

½ cup mini chocolate chips (dark or milk chocolate)

¼ cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of sea salt

Optional: ¼ cup chopped nuts (like walnuts or pecans) or dried fruit (like cranberries or raisins) for added texture

Instructions
 

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, ground flaxseed, and shredded coconut. If you are adding chopped nuts or dried fruit, include them at this stage.

    Combine Wet Ingredients: In another smaller bowl, mix together the almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and sea salt. Stir until smooth and well combined.

      Blend Both Mixtures: Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir thoroughly until all of the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

        Add Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips, making sure they're distributed evenly throughout the mixture.

          Shape the Bites: With clean hands, scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat this process until all the mixture has been formed into bites.
