Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1/2 lb ground pork

1 cup breadcrumbs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 large egg

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Mix the Meatball Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Use your hands to mix everything until well combined but be careful not to overmix.

Shape the Meatballs: Scoop out about 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture and roll it into a ball. Place the formed meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat until all the mixture is used up.

Bake: Place the meatballs in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.

Prepare the BBQ Sauce: While the meatballs are baking, in a small saucepan, combine the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Heat it over medium heat until warm, stirring occasionally.

Combine Meatballs and Sauce: Once the meatballs are done, carefully remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the warm BBQ sauce over the meatballs and gently toss them until they are evenly coated.

Serve: Transfer the BBQ meatballs to a serving platter, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot. Enjoy these delicious meatballs as a main dish or as party appetizers!
