Mini Chicken Alfredo Wonton Pies

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 package of wonton wrappers (about 48 wrappers)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

      Add the Cheeses: Reduce the heat to low, then add the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Stir continuously until the cheeses melt and the sauce thickens. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

        Combine Chicken and Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the Alfredo sauce until well coated.

          Assemble the Wonton Pies: Lightly grease a cupcake or muffin tin. Place a wonton wrapper in each cup, pressing it down gently to form a little cup. Fill each wonton wrapper with about 1 tablespoon of the chicken Alfredo mixture. Top with a sprinkle of extra mozzarella cheese if desired.

            Bake: Bake the wonton pies in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges of the wontons are golden brown and crispy.

              Garnish and Serve: Remove the pies from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
