Ingredients

4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on

1/2 cup pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)

Lemon wedges, for serving

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, and rosemary until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure each fillet is well-coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Bake the Salmon: Remove the salmon from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later. Place the fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Glaze the Salmon: While the salmon is baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring it to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened, about 5-7 minutes.

Combine and Serve: Once the salmon is done, brush a generous amount of the thickened glaze over the fillets. Return to the oven for an additional 2 minutes if you want it extra glazed. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a minute.

Garnish and Enjoy: Serve the maple glazed salmon with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of fresh parsley for a burst of flavor and color. Enjoy with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables or quinoa.
