Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

8 mini taco shells (soft or hard)

1 ripe avocado, diced

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup sour cream (optional)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula (about 5-7 minutes).

Season the Meat: Drain any excess fat, then add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the spices are aromatic.

Warm the Taco Shells: While the beef finishes cooking, warm the mini taco shells in the oven according to package instructions or on a dry skillet over low heat for about 1 minute on each side until just heated.

Assemble the Tacos: Start by placing a generous spoonful of the seasoned beef into each taco shell. Top with diced avocado, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.

Add the Finishing Touches: If desired, add a dollop of sour cream on each taco for creaminess and sprinkle with fresh cilantro for a burst of flavor.

Serve and Enjoy: Arrange the tacos on a platter and serve with extra avocado, tomato, and lime wedges on the side for added zest.
