Ingredients

4 cups water

4 green tea bags (or 4 teaspoons loose green tea)

1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice (about 4 oranges)

2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)

Zest of 1 orange

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Ice cubes

Orange slices and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Boil the Water: In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a gentle boil.

Brew the Tea: Remove the saucepan from heat and add the green tea bags (or loose tea in a tea infuser). Let it steep for about 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer the tea. Remove the tea bags (or infuser) and allow the tea to cool slightly.

Sweeten the Tea: Stir in the honey while the tea is still warm, ensuring it's fully dissolved.

Add Orange Juice and Zest: Once the tea has cooled to room temperature, mix in the freshly squeezed orange juice and orange zest. If desired, add the vanilla extract for an extra flavor depth.

Chill the Mixture: Transfer the tea to a pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, allowing all flavors to meld.

Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the iced orange green tea over the ice. Garnish with slices of orange and fresh mint leaves for a refreshing touch.

Enjoy: Sip and savor the revitalizing flavors of your homemade iced orange green tea!
