Ingredients

250g flat rice noodles

200g beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece of ginger, grated

1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 cup broccoli florets

2 green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds for garnish

Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Noodles: In a large pot of boiling water, cook the rice noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Stir-fry the Vegetables: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli florets and red bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until just tender but still crisp. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Beef: In the same skillet, add the marinated beef in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches). Let it sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Make sure not to overcrowd the skillet for even cooking.

Combine Ingredients: Once the beef is cooked, return the vegetables to the skillet. Add the cooked rice noodles and gently toss everything together. If the noodles seem dry, add a splash of water or extra hoisin sauce.

Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of freshness.
