1 cup natural peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)

1/3 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup almond flour

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or almonds) (optional)

Prepare Your Pan: Line an 8x8 inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Mix Wet Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup). Stir until smooth and well combined. If your peanut butter is on the thicker side, you might want to microwave it for about 10-15 seconds to make it easier to mix.

      Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, almond flour, cocoa powder, and sea salt. Stir well to distribute all the dry ingredients evenly.

        Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until fully incorporated. Make sure there are no dry patches left. If you’re adding chocolate chips or nuts, fold them into the mixture at this point.

          Spread and Bake: Pour the mixture into the lined baking dish. Spread it out evenly, pressing down firmly with a spatula or your hands to ensure it’s compact. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden brown.
