Ingredients

4 ears of fresh corn on the cob, husked and cleaned

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

4 cloves of garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 teaspoon salt (to taste)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)

1 teaspoon paprika (optional for extra flavor)

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional for a cheesy touch)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prep the Corn: Start by husking the corn and removing all silk. Rinse the corn under cold water and set aside to drain.

Make Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1–2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn. Remove from heat and mix in the chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using).

Cook Corn: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the corn and boil for about 5-7 minutes, until tender but still crisp. Alternatively, you can grill the corn for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until charred and tender.

Prepare for Serving: Once the corn is cooked, remove it from the pot or grill and let it cool slightly. Brush generously with the garlic butter mixture, ensuring the corn is well-coated.

Final Touches: If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese for some extra flavor. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.

Enjoy! Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the corn for an added zesty flavor before diving in!
