Ingredients

8 oz elbow macaroni

2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

4 tbsp unsalted butter

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 cups milk

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup assorted fresh fruits (strawberries, pineapple, kiwi, blueberries)

1/4 cup granola

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make the Cheese Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the flour and whisk continuously for about 1 minute to create a roux. Gradually add the milk, whisking to prevent lumps. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Continue to cook and stir until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the Cheeses: Once the sauce is thickened, reduce the heat to low and add the cream cheese, mixing until smooth. Gradually incorporate the cheddar and mozzarella, stirring until all the cheese is melted and creamy.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Fold the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce until evenly coated.

Prepare the Fruit Topping: While the mac and cheese cool slightly, chop the assorted fresh fruits into bite-sized pieces.

Assemble the Pizza: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the mac and cheese mixture onto a large pizza pan or baking dish to resemble a pizza base.

Top with Fruits: Arrange the fresh fruits on top of the mac and cheese layer, artfully placing them across the surface. Sprinkle granola over the fruits for added crunch.

Bake: Place the assembled mac and cheese fruit pizza in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, just enough to heat through and slightly crisp the edges.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh mint leaves before slicing.

Enjoy: Serve warm or at room temperature for a unique dessert or side dish that's sure to impress!
