Ingredients

4 ripe bananas

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

½ cup creamy peanut butter

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

½ cup granola or crushed nuts (for topping)

1 cup dark chocolate chips (optional, for dipping)

Popsicle sticks

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Insert a popsicle stick into the flat end of each banana half and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Mix the Yogurt: In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Coat the Bananas: Use a spoon to generously coat each banana half with the peanut butter yogurt mixture. Make sure to cover them completely for the best taste and texture.

Add Toppings: Sprinkle granola or crushed nuts over the yogurt-coated bananas for an added crunch. Press lightly to ensure they stick.

Freeze the Pops: Place the baking sheet with the coated bananas in the freezer. Freeze them for at least 2-3 hours or until completely firm.

(Optional) Prepare the Chocolate Dip: If you want chocolate-covered banana pops, melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave in short bursts (20-30 seconds), stirring until smooth.

Dip in Chocolate: Remove the pops from the freezer once frozen. Dip each banana pop in the melted chocolate, making sure to cover them well. Quickly return to the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Final Freeze: Place the chocolate-covered banana pops back in the freezer for an additional 30 minutes to solidify the chocolate.

Serve and Enjoy: Once firm, remove the pops from the freezer. You can enjoy these delicious Frozen Yogurt Peanut Butter Banana Pops immediately, or store them in a zip-top bag in the freezer for a refreshing treat later!
