Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup almonds, chopped

1/2 cup almond butter (or peanut butter)

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Sea salt for topping (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats and chopped almonds. Mix well to ensure an even distribution.

Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and well combined.

Combine: Pour the wet mixture over the oat and almond mix. Stir thoroughly until all the dry ingredients are evenly coated.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and glossy.

Combine Chocolate: Pour the melted chocolate into the oat mixture and stir until everything is well integrated.

Form Clusters: Use a tablespoon to scoop out portions of the mixture and form small clusters on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Keep them close together for a more cohesive bite.

Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and let the clusters freeze for at least 1 hour until solid.

Serve: Once frozen, remove the clusters from the sheet and store in an airtight container in the freezer. Enjoy these as a quick snack or a guilt-free dessert!

Add Extra Flavor: If desired, sprinkle a touch of sea salt over the clusters before freezing for an extra flavor boost.
