Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1 cup unsweetened applesauce

1 large apple, peeled, cored, and finely diced

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 cup granola (for texture, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Apple Filling: In a medium bowl, mix the diced apple, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and the applesauce until all the ingredients are evenly combined. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Make the Yogurt Mixture: In another bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and vanilla extract. Mix well until the yogurt is smooth and creamy.

Layer the Pops: In a popsicle mold, start by adding a layer of the yogurt mixture, filling each mold about one-third full. Next, spoon a generous layer of the apple filling over the yogurt. Repeat the layers until the molds are filled, finishing with a yogurt layer on top if desired.

Add Granola (Optional): If you're using granola, sprinkle a small amount on the top layer of yogurt before inserting the popsicle sticks.

Insert Sticks: Carefully insert popsicle sticks into each mold, ensuring they stand upright.

Freeze: Place the popsicle molds in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours or until fully frozen. For best results, leave overnight.

Serve: Once frozen solid, remove the pops from the molds by running them under warm water for a few seconds. Enjoy your refreshing Frozen Apple Pie Yogurt Pops!
