Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably whole wheat)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

Form Meatballs: Using your hands, mix all ingredients until well combined. Form the mixture into meatballs, roughly 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.

Bake the Meatballs: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden on the outside.

Heat Marinara Sauce: While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.

Serve: Once the meatballs are done, serve them hot with the marinara sauce poured over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Pair with spaghetti, a side salad, or crusty bread for a complete meal!
