Ingredients

12 ounces penne pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup frozen peas (thawed)

½ cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Allow it to simmer gently for 3-4 minutes. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with a bit more salt and pepper if needed.

Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, sautéed chicken, Alfredo sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, and thawed peas. Mix until everything is well coated.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the pasta mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly.

Bake the Dish: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and then sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top before serving.
