Ingredients

1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup bell peppers (red and yellow), sliced

1 cup snap peas, trimmed

1 medium carrot, julienned

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

3 green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Cooked rice or quinoa, for serving

Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Marinate the Beef: In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well to coat the beef evenly. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes while you prepare the vegetables.

Prep the Veggies: Wash and prep all the vegetables: chop broccoli into florets, slice bell peppers, trim snap peas, and julienne the carrot. Set aside.

Stir-Fry the Beef: In a large wok or skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer and let it sear for about 2-3 minutes without stirring until browned. Flip the beef and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

Cook the Veggies: In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the broccoli, bell peppers, snap peas, and carrot. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the veggies are tender-crisp.

Combine: Return the cooked beef to the pan with the vegetables. Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with chopped green onions. Stir to combine all ingredients thoroughly and heat through for another 1-2 minutes.

Serve: Prepare bowls with cooked rice or quinoa. Top with the beef and veggie mixture. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.

Enjoy: Serve warm, and enjoy this deliciously vibrant and nutritious stir-fry bowl with your family!
