Ingredients

1 pound store-bought pizza dough

1 cup Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled

1 cup pepperoni slices

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1/2 cup bell peppers, diced

1/4 cup onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 12x16 inches.

Layer Ingredients: Starting from one long edge of the rectangle, layer the cooked sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella, provolone, bell peppers, and onions evenly over the dough. Leave about 1 inch of space around the edges.

Season the Filling: Sprinkle the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the layered mixture for extra flavor.

Roll Up the Dough: Carefully roll the dough away from you, starting with the filled edge, until it forms a log. Seal the edges by pinching them tightly to prevent any fillings from escaping during baking.

Place on Baking Sheet: Transfer the rolled Stromboli to the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.

Egg Wash: Brush the top of the Stromboli with the beaten egg for a shiny finish. You can also sprinkle some extra Italian seasoning or garlic powder on top for added flavor.

Slice and Bake: Make a few slits on top of the Stromboli with a sharp knife to allow steam to escape. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Slice into thick pieces and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
