Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1 lb asparagus, trimmed

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper, to taste

Lemon slices, for garnish

Fresh parsley, for serving (optional)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Marinate Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on one side of the baking sheet. Drizzle half of the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is evenly coated.

Prepare Asparagus: On the other side of the baking sheet, arrange the trimmed asparagus. Drizzle the remaining marinade over the asparagus and toss to coat.

Bake: Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender-crisp.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the sheet pan from the oven. Garnish the salmon with lemon slices and sprinkle fresh parsley over the dish, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
