1 (30 oz) bag frozen hashbrowns, thawed

1 cup cottage cheese

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup diced cooked ham (optional)

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 bell pepper (any color), diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)

Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hashbrowns, cottage cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, diced ham (if using), chopped onion, diced bell pepper, minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

      Prepare Baking Dish: Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray or a little oil.

        Transfer Mixture: Pour the hashbrown mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
