Easy Air Fryer Caramelized Pineapple Recipe

1 ripe pineapple, peeled and cored

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Optional: fresh mint leaves for garnish

Prepare the Pineapple: Cut the pineapple into thick rings, about 1/2 inch in thickness. You can also cut them into wedges or cubes if desired.

    Make the Caramel Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, melted butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until the sugar is well combined with the other ingredients into a paste.

      Coat the Pineapple: Toss the pineapple pieces in the caramel mixture until they are evenly coated. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

        Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes. This will ensure even cooking and caramelization.

          Air Fry the Pineapple: Place the coated pineapple pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Make sure they are not overcrowded to allow proper air circulation. Cook in batches if needed.
