3 cups puffed rice cereal

1 cup milk chocolate chips

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Prepare Your Workspace: Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later. Lightly grease the parchment paper with cooking spray.

    Make the Praline Mixture: In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, whisk in the brown sugar, granulated sugar, heavy cream, and salt. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring constantly. Allow it to cook for about 5 minutes, letting it thicken slightly, until it reaches a soft ball stage on a candy thermometer (235°F to 240°F or 113°C to 115°C).

      Stir in Vanilla and Nuts: Remove the saucepan from the heat, and quickly stir in the vanilla extract and chopped pecans (or your nut choice). Mix until the nuts are well coated.

        Combine with Puffed Rice: In a large mixing bowl, combine the puffed rice cereal with the praline mixture. Stir until all the cereal is evenly coated.

          Set in Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish and press down firmly to create an even layer. Be cautious as it will be hot. Allow it to cool for about 30 minutes at room temperature.
