1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup dark chocolate chips

1 cup soft caramel candies, cut into quarters

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

    Cream the Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

      Add Eggs and Vanilla: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.

        Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well blended.

          Mix Dry Ingredients with Wet Ingredients: Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.
