Ingredients

4 medium russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix (store-bought or homemade)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Sour cream or ranch dressing (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easier cleanup.

Prepare the Potatoes: Cut the washed russet potatoes into wedges. Try to keep them uniform in size for even cooking.

Season the Wedges: In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the potato wedges to the bowl, ensuring they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they have some space between them to promote crispiness.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, flipping the wedges halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the potato wedges from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness. Serve immediately with sour cream or ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
