1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

3 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon sea salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Chickpeas: After rinsing the chickpeas, pat them dry with paper towels. This step is essential for achieving crispiness. Spread them out on a clean kitchen towel or paper towel to absorb any excess moisture.

      Season the Chickpeas: In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, sea salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well until all ingredients are combined.
