Ingredients

4 large slices of thick brioche or challah bread

4 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

2 tablespoons butter (for frying)

Powdered sugar (for garnish)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Optional: Fresh berries (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls: Open the can of cinnamon rolls and carefully separate them. Flatten each roll with your hands or a rolling pin until they’re about 1/4 inch thick. Set aside.

Make the Egg Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and granulated sugar until fully combined.

Assemble the Stuffed French Toast: Take one piece of brioche bread and place one flattened cinnamon roll on top. Cover it with another piece of brioche, pressing down gently to create a sandwich. Repeat with the remaining bread and cinnamon rolls.

Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until foamy and bubbling.

Dip in Egg Mixture: Gently dip each stuffed sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated but not overly soggy.

Cook the Stuffed French Toast: Place the stuffed French toasts in the heated skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your skillet.

Serve: Remove the French toast from the skillet and place on a serving dish. Drizzle with the icing from the cinnamon rolls, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve warm with maple syrup on the side. Optionally, top with fresh berries for a delightful touch.
