2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup granulated sugar

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup whole milk

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the cinnamon swirl:

½ cup brown sugar, packed

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

For the cream cheese frosting:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1-2 cups powdered sugar (to taste)

1-2 tablespoons milk (to achieve desired consistency)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking dish.

    Make the Cake Batter: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until no dry flour remains.

      Prepare the Cinnamon Swirl: In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture is well combined and resembles a thick paste.
