1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter. Stir well to create a cohesive mixture.

      Add Sugar and Egg: Mix in the brown sugar until well combined. Then add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
