Ingredients

2 large flatbreads or naan

1 cup fresh spinach, roughly chopped

1 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil, for drizzling

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for baking the flatbreads.

Prepare the Spinach Artichoke Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Stir until well blended. Add in the chopped fresh spinach and artichoke hearts, then fold in the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if using. Mix until all ingredients are combined evenly.

Assemble the Flatbreads: Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread a generous portion of the spinach-artichoke mixture evenly over each flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.

Bake: Drizzle a little olive oil over the top of each flatbread for added flavor and crispiness. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a minute. If desired, garnish with fresh basil leaves. Slice the flatbreads into pieces and serve warm.
