Ingredients

1 store-bought or homemade flatbread (pita, naan, or pizza dough)

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup artichoke hearts, chopped (canned or frozen, thawed if needed)

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Cheesy Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped spinach, chopped artichokes, minced garlic, ½ cup of mozzarella cheese, and all the spices. Mix until the ingredients are well blended and creamy.

Spread the Mixture: Place your flatbread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the cheesy spinach and artichoke mixture evenly over the flatbread, making sure to cover it to the edges.

Add More Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of mozzarella cheese and the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the spread mixture for an extra cheesy finish.

Bake: Place the flatbread in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Garnish & Slice: Once baked, carefully remove the flatbread from the oven. Allow it to cool slightly before garnishing with freshly chopped parsley or basil, if desired. Slice it into wedges or squares.

Serve: Serve warm as a delightful appetizer, snack, or main dish alongside a fresh salad or a dipping sauce.
