Ingredients

Pizza Dough: 1 lb (store-bought or homemade)

Olive Oil: 2 tbsp

Garlic Cloves: 2, minced

Mozzarella Cheese: 8 oz, shredded

Provolone Cheese: 4 oz, sliced

Salami: 4 oz, sliced

Prosciutto: 4 oz, torn into strips

Pepperoncini Peppers: 1/4 cup, sliced

Pickles: 1/2 cup, sliced (dill or bread and butter)

Black Olives: 1/3 cup, pitted and sliced

Fresh Arugula: 1 cup

Balsamic Glaze: 2 tbsp

Fresh Basil: A handful, for garnish

Crushed Red Pepper Flakes: To taste (optional)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or baking tray inside to heat up.

Prepare the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness (about 12 inches in diameter is ideal). Transfer the rolled-out dough to a piece of parchment paper for easy handling.

Season the Base: In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and minced garlic together. Brush this mixture evenly over the surface of the pizza dough, leaving about a half-inch border around the edges.

Add Cheese Layer: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough, making sure to cover the entire surface. Layer the provolone cheese slices over the mozzarella.

Top with Charcuterie: Evenly distribute the salami, prosciutto, and pepperoncini peppers across the top of the cheese. Add in the pickles and black olives for some tangy flavor.

Bake the Pizza: Carefully slide the parchment paper with the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or baking tray in the oven. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

Finish with Fresh Ingredients: Remove the pizza from the oven. While it’s still warm, top with fresh arugula and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. If desired, sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.

Garnish and Serve: Finish with fresh basil leaves scattered on top. Slice the pizza into wedges and serve immediately, allowing guests to enjoy the charcuterie board flavors in this delightful pizza form.
