2 boneless, skinless chicken fillets

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken fillets with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder on both sides.

      Sauté the Chicken: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken fillets and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

        Cook the Broccoli: In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender but still crisp. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

          Make the Creamy Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese, mixing until melted and smooth. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.

            Combine and Bake: Return the chicken fillets to the skillet and spoon some of the creamy cheese sauce over them. Sprinkle extra cheddar cheese on top of the chicken for a cheesy finish.

              Bake: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 75°C).

                Serve: Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot, drizzling more creamy cheese sauce over the chicken and broccoli.
