Instructions

Prepare the Dough:

    - In a large mixing bowl, stir the warm milk and sugar together. Sprinkle the yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

      Combine Ingredients:

        - In the same bowl, add the melted butter, yogurt (or sour cream), egg, and salt. Mix until combined.

          - Gradually add the flour, one cup at a time, mixing until a soft dough forms.

            Knead the Dough:

              - Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. The dough should be slightly tacky but not overly sticky.

                Let It Rise:

                  - Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours or until doubled in size.

                    Prepare the Filling:

                      - In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.

                        Roll Out the Dough:

                          - Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle, about 16x12 inches.

                            Add Filling:

                              - Spread the softened butter evenly over the rolled-out dough. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture on top, followed by an even layer of fresh blueberries.

                                Roll and Cut:

                                  - Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough into a log. Slice the log into 12 equal rolls.

                                    Second Rise:

                                      - Place the rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, leaving space between them. Cover again with a kitchen towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

                                        Preheat Oven:

                                          - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

                                            Bake:

                                              - Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

                                                Prepare Glaze:

                                                  - While the rolls are baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.

                                                    Glaze the Rolls:

                                                      - Once the sweet rolls are out of the oven, let them cool slightly, then drizzle the glaze over the top.

                                                        Serve:

                                                          - Enjoy warm, fresh out of the oven or at room temperature!
